Two INEC Staff Sentenced To 21 Years In Prison

Justice Nathan Musa who is the presiding judge in Yola High Court has sentenced two INEC officials into 21 years in prison for corruption allegations against them. After proper investigation it was confirmed that the two staff receive a bribe of N362 million from Diezene Allison -Madueke in favour of them (PDP) for the 2015 general presidential election.

The presiding judge has directed the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, and the International Police to produce former Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Allison-Madueke, to face prosecution over the N362 million bribe.

They were sentenced based on the three counts charge levelled against them by the EFCC and each sentence to twenty-one each in prison.
