Nigerians Don’t know the Value Of Democracy – Senator Sabi Abdullahi Speaks On National Assembly Renovation

Recall the hate speech bill sponsorer Senator Sabi Abdullahi, the Niger state lawmaker has stated that renovation of the national assembly complex which was built in 1999 is long overdue and the amount in renovations is minute

In an interview granted with Channels Television’s Politics Today programme, said renovation of the building was stalled before now by the level of legislation that takes place in it.

Senator Sabi Abdullahi (Niger North ) in his reaction to the proposed renovation of the National Assembly complex for a whopping sum N37B explained that the complex which is over 20 years ought to have been renovated since because it’s been serving Nigerians from Democratic form of government he added the complex is long overdue for renovations
He further explained that N37B budgeted for the project is low compare to what is inside the building and added that Nigerians don’t know the value of Democratic form of government
